Short answer, it's a Sunday School class aimed at people between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine.
The reality is many people after growing up in a church environment leave church once they go off to school or embark upon a career of their own. I have seen in my own experience how people are nourished in the word through the child and teen years, only to be thrown to the wolves, so to speak, upon leaving the teen group until they are viewed as adults.
And sadly, a lot of times in these middle years people are trying to break away from that image of still being a kid, they want to find their own roads.
I don't want it to be like that here at Liberty, we intend with this class to help young adults through those most perilous of times right out of high school, and to show that your own way, doesn't have to take you from God's way.
As the teacher of the class my aim is to keep you growing in your faith, while at the same time bringing something new to the Sunday School class. What I mean by that is many stories get used several times through the youth and teen years, we want to open up the Bible and get into some of the things you may not know.
And this class isn't just for those who grew up in a church environment. I understand that there are those who didn't grow up in church and now out on their own they are searching for spiritual fulfillment they have never had.
The class is structured so anyone from a first time Church attendee to a seasoned veteran can feel comfortable and informed without feeling left out.
My faith is that this class will strengthen new and old Christians alike, that you will be able to answer any questions someone might have about your faith with confidence, and that if it is at all possible, that I be an encouragement to you.
